Jasmine Lau has a deep-seated passion for the medical field and this stems from her early years as a critical care nurse.
Over her 25-year career in the industry, Lau has always stood by her motto to deliver exceptional care, deep compassion and excellent service to every person she serves in the course of her duties as a professional healthcare service provider.
She began her career in KPJ Healthcare as a critical care registered nurse in 1996 and went on to serve as Assistant Director of Nursing at Sunway Medical Centre in the year 2000. In 2014, Lau was appointed Chief Nursing Officer at Oriental Melaka Straits Medical Centre.
Lau gained extensive insights and exposure while serving as a nursing professional. From understanding patient needs to managing a team of nurses and providing team leadership, Lau always challenged her comfort zone and set the benchmark high for herself and her team. Her extensive experience prepared her well for a management position. In 2018, Lau joined Nilai Medical Centre as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and a year later, she assumed the role as Chief Executive Officer. Lau currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare Klang.
Lau is a graduate from Monash University Malaysia with a Bachelor in Nursing. In her free time, she enjoys a good book and travelling. Her personal motto : Always Smile…. because every smile can positively impact those around you.
